On July 18th, Prospex moderated and facilitated a successful and interactive workshop in Žilina, Slovakia. The workshop, led by Ekopolis, together with Open Society Foundations and Carpathian, promoted dialogue and deeper insight on how to develop civil society and how to further contribute to social justice, democracy and sustainable development and was part of the Active Citizens Fund Programme.
Developed by EEA and Norway Grants, ACF’s objective is “Civil society and active citizenship strengthened and vulnerable groups empowered”. The Active Citizens Fund 2014-2021 in Slovakia is seeking to develop the long-term sustainability and capacity of the civil society sector, with the aim of strengthening its role in promoting democratic participation, active citizenship and human rights.
