The project “Establishment of a risk-based food safety control system in the dairy value chain in Ukraine“ is led by Safoso (SAfe FOod SOlutions) for the Swiss State Secretariat for the Economy (SECO), in cooperation with the Ukrainian State Service for Food Safety as well as the Consumer Protection and Ukrainian dairy associations. Within this project, Prospex helped tackle the challenge of obtaining reliable data on milk deliveries, residues and inhibitors. This particularly intricate subject relates to organisational and market structures governing the practices of milk production and processing in Ukraine.
Prospex designed and enabled a step-by-step process of engaging key stakeholders and developing commitment to implement agreed actions. To this end, a round table bringing together a multitude of milk processors was designed and facilitated by Prospex, not only to create a clearer picture of the data challenge but also to build the necessary willingness and commitment in order to address the important tasks at hand.
