On 27 May 2015 the BEWATER Consortium partners met key local stakeholders in Ajdovščina (Slovenia) for the second stakeholder workshop of the Vipava case study river basin.
BeWater is a three-year and a half coordination and support research project, funded under the EU FP7 programme, aiming at establishing four separate water adaptation plans to global climate change for four distinct case study river basins around the Mediterranean, including Vipava. The event has been professionally designed and facilitated by Prospex.
In this highly interactive stakeholder workshop, the project team presented the current status of the project, as well as the challenges emerged during the first workshop. The event also gathered a representative expert group of stakeholders to discuss and evaluate – through a guided process – water management options for the basin.
This meeting was the second of a series of four stakeholder workshops in the Vipava river basin. The first BeWater stakeholder workshop of the Vipava river basin was held in Ajdovščina (Slovenia) on 10 June 2014 (read more here).
