CLIMSAVE (Climate Change Integrated Assessment Methodology for Cross-Sectoral Adaptation and Vulnerability in Europe) is a pan-European project, funded under the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme. The aim is to develop a user-friendly, interactive web-based tool that will allow stakeholders to assess climate change impacts and vulnerabilities for a range of sectors, including agriculture, forests, biodiversity, coasts, water resources and urban development. Within this project Prospex has designed and facilitated two sets of three professionally facilitated workshops, a European set and a regional (Scottish) set.
The workshops effectively integrated stakeholder views into the project and linked them with the climate change impact and adaptation research. The participatory workshops focused on the development of long-term scenarios on climate change adaptation as well as strategies for action.
